Newcof-LS Syrup

Description

Newcof-LS syrup is a medication used to treat coughs that produce mucus (wet cough or chesty cough). It is a combination of four medicines:

• Levosalbutamol sulfate: This is a bronchodilator, which means it relaxes the muscles in the airways of your lungs. This widens the airways, making it easier to breathe.
• Ambroxol hydrochloride: This is a mucolytic, which means it thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in your lungs, windpipe (trachea), and nose. This makes it easier to cough up the mucus.
• Guaifenesin: This is an expectorant, which means it loosens and thins mucus (phlegm) in your chest, making it easier to cough up.
• Menthol: This ingredient provides a cooling sensation that soothes a cough.

Newcof-LS syrup is used to relieve cough with mucus congestion associated with respiratory disorders like bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and emphysema.
